Hundred Percent Free, a Japanese rock band formed in Nagoya in July 2003, consisted of vocalist Tack, vocalist Ko‑Ki, guitarist SIG, drummer KAZ, and later bassist MK‑II and programmer B‑BURG before their departures in 2009 and 2012 respectively. The group debuted with the self‑produced single "OFF LIMITED" in July 2006, followed by the indie mini‑album Hundred Percent Free on August 20 2008 under ZAZZY, achieving the number‑one spot on the iTunes Store Rock chart alongside acts such as Coldplay and Metallica. After signing with Being and the pure:infinity label, the band released the single "Hello Mr. my yesterday" on January 27 2010, marking their major debut. Their first full‑length album, JET!JET!!JET!!!, dropped on April 6 2011, and they embarked on nationwide tours including the JAP∞PARADE09 live series. In December 2012 the group shortened its name to 100%FREE, and a compilation Hyakunen Monogatari〜The Complete Best〜 was issued on December 18 2013, coinciding with their disbandment following drummer KAZ’s decision to reevaluate his career. The band’s blend of punk, hip‑hop, R&B, and reggae-labeled Hybrid Rock-left a distinct imprint on Japan’s indie rock scene during their ten‑year run.
