ZIPANG OPERA is a groundbreaking Japanese musical performance unit consisting of three highly accomplished stage actors and vocalists: Ryuji Sato, Yu Fukuzawa, and spi. Formed under the creative direction of renowned artist-producer Go Ueki, the group redefined the J-Pop landscape by seamlessly blending traditional Japanese cultural elements with modern electronic dance music (EDM), hip-hop, and pop. Each of their tracks is conceptualized as a miniature "opera," delivering intense theatrical energy and breathtaking choreography. The trio is widely recognized for their versatility and powerful stage presence, drawing from their extensive backgrounds in major 2.5-dimensional musicals and mainstream theater productions. Following the departure of vocalist Shinnosuke in early 2025, the group successfully transitioned into a powerhouse three-piece lineup, entering a bold new artistic era.Cementing their evolution as a trio, ZIPANG OPERA released their highly anticipated 3rd EP, "ZIPANGRIMM," in June 2026.
