Abrar Ul Haq, born on July 21, 1968, in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and former politician. He was educated at Sir Syed College and Quaid-i-Azam University before pursuing a music career. His debut album Billo De Ghar, released in 1995, sold over 40.3 million copies worldwide, establishing him as a prominent figure in Pakistani pop music. Throughout his career, Abrar-ul-Haq has been involved in various controversies due to the content of his songs, including "Nach Punjaban" and "Parveen". In addition to his musical achievements, Abrar-ul-Haq is known for his philanthropic work through Sahara for Life Trust, which provides health services in remote areas of Pakistan. He has also been recognized with several awards, including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2005 and the Sitara-e-Eisaar in 2006.
