Biography
Zero Hour, an American progressive metal band, was formed in 1993 in Pleasanton, California, by twin brothers Jasun Tipton and Troy Tipton. The band's early releases included their self-titled debut album in 1999 and The Towers of Avarice in 2001, the latter being their first on Sensory Records. In 2003, they re-released their debut as Metamorphosis, marking a significant shift with Fred Marshall replacing original vocalist Erik Rosvold. Marshall appeared on A Fragile Mind (2005), followed by Chris Salinas on Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond (2006). The band's final album, Dark Deceiver, was released in 2008. Zero Hour disbanded due to Troy Tipton's arm injury, with the brothers subsequently focusing on new projects: Abnormal Thought Patterns and Cynthesis.
