YOUNGCODE (ìì½ë), born Jeon Geun-woo (ì ê·¼ì°) on August 20, 2000, in Gangnam, Seoul, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer, and vocalist. He first built his musical foundation through seven years of classical piano training during his childhood, which later gave him a strong grasp of melody and composition. In high school, he began producing music, immersing himself in beat-making and experimenting with hip hop and contemporary sounds. By the age of 22, YOUNGCODE expanded his artistry to include singing, allowing him to fully take charge of his creative process by writing, composing, arranging, mixing, and performing his own songs. His music blends band-driven instrumentals with influences from glitch, shoegaze, hyperpop, and rock, constructing a distinctive sonic world that reflects both vulnerability and intensity. He debuted in 2018 with the single "Romeo", followed by the hip hop EP MONEYCODE in 2019. Over time, his sound evolved toward a richer, more experimental palette, as seen in Childhood Spectrum (2023), the reflective single "How do you feel this" (2025), and his full-length pop rock album STAND ALONE (2025).
