You Can't Win, Charlie Brown is a Portuguese rock band from Lisbon, formed in 2009. The group consists of Afonso Cabral on vocals and keyboards, David Santos on keyboards, Pedro Branco on guitar, Salvador Menezes on guitar and bass, João Gil on keyboards and bass, and Tomás Sousa on drums. Their debut EP, You Can't Win, Charlie Brown, was released in 2010, marking their initial foray into the music scene. The band's first full-length album, Chromatic, was released on May 30, 2011, under Pataca Discos. Their subsequent albums include Diffraction / Refraction (January 20, 2014) and Marrow (October 7, 2016), the latter of which reached number one in the Portuguese album charts. The band has performed at major Portuguese music festivals as well as international events such as South By Southwest and The Great Escape. Their most recent album, Ãmbar, was released in 2022 under Sony Music.
