Biography

Jung Ye-rin (ì ìë¦°), known by her stage name Yerin (ìë¦°), was born on August 19, 1996 in Incheon South Korea, and began her musical career as a member of South Korean girl group GFriend with whom she released a debut EP, Season of Glass, in 2015. After making the leap to acting and presenting she landed a supporting role in the 2016 web drama Midnight's Girl and worked as the new MC for SBS MTV's music program The Show alongside Zhou M. The following year, she teamed up with Cao Lu and Kisum for the single "Spring Again" after some time away from the spotlight, re-emerged in 2021 to sign with Sublime Artist Agency as a solo artist and actor. She launched her musical debut in May 2022 with the Aria EP, which went to number eight on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. In 2024, she released her new EP Rewrite.
