Biography
YEND, an artist from Mulhouse, has roots in Algeria and Guadeloupe. She grew up to the rhythm of zouk and kompa, immersed in traditional West Indian culture, before discovering rap and electro in the YouTube era. At the age of 13, she moved to Guadeloupe, a life-changing experience that shaped her musical identity. She began rapping in 2015 in Guadeloupe. In 2022, YEND releases two EPs, Soliloquy, marking the start of her musical career after several professional experiences behind the scenes in the industry. In March 2023, YEND released her YEKRIK EP, a project fusing her hip-hop, house and Afrodescendant influences. She is the Grand-Est winner of Buzz Booster 2024, a major springboard for emerging artists. She performs regularly on stage, notably opening for Chilla at La Poudrière in Belfort in February 2025.
