Yao Xiaotang, born Yao on 11 September 1998 in Shanwei, Guangdong, China, is a Chinese singer and actress who first gained national attention after finishing fourth on season 6 of the reality talent show Sing! China. A graduate of the Central Academy of Drama, she entered the music industry with the release of the single "假象" on 30 November 2021, followed by "今天我决定离开你" on 23 April 2022, which helped establish her presence in the Mandopop scene. In 2023, Yao Xiaotang released her debut EP 獨處症 on 3 July under By Moon Entertainment, featuring tracks such as "不知所措" that charted within the top 20 of domestic digital platforms.
