Sadiq Onifade, known professionally as WurlD, and born on January 2, 1987, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a singer-songwriter. He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue his education and music career. WurlD's initial steps included releasing his debut single "Beyond Our Dreams" in late 2012, followed by his first EP Evolution in August 2013. In May 2016, he released "Show You Off", an Afro-soul record featuring Walshy Fire of Major Lazer and producer Shizzi. WurlD co-wrote the hit song "Blow my Mind" by Davido featuring Chris Brown in 2019. His notable achievements include going certified Gold with his Sony Music release track "Follow You" with Polish DJ, Gromee in 2015.
