Biography

Wukong, born Alvin Ngor Xuan Hong in 1991 in Singapore, is an emerging DJ and producer from Singapore who is significantly influenced by traditional Chinese culture. He aims to promote Chinese culture and values globally through his music. Wukong combines ethnic Asian elements and distinctive sounds to create a unique musical experience that merges Chinese mythology with electronic bass music. After winning on the program Rap Viet 3, he quickly rose to stardom and made it onto the DJ MAG 2023 rankings alongside worldwide top DJs such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Calvin Harris and R3HAB. Notably, he is the first Singaporean EDM producer to be signed by the prestigious Liquid State team, joining artists like Alan Walker, R3HAB, and Corsak. The track "YES (WUKONG Remix)," a track he remixed for HYOYEON of Girls' Generation on her album released in December 2025, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 7 the same day.
