Gunho Kim, better known as WinG, is a South Korean beatboxer renowned for his precise techniques, smooth flow, and distinctive groove. Born on September 26, 1997, he first started beatboxing as a self-taught artist after being challenged by his cousin. Since then, he has become one of South Korea's most accomplished beatboxers, winning multiple national and international competitions. WinG made his mark in the beatbox scene by claiming first place at the Korea Beatbox Championship in 2017, followed by victories at the Asia Beatbox Championship and Beatbox Legends Championship in 2018. He has consistently performed on the world stage, securing high placements in competitions like the Grand Beatbox Battle (GBB), where he finished 3rd in the solo category in 2023. In 2024, he won first place at the Haten Beatbox Battle 5.0 Grand Championship and reached the Top 8 at GBB. Beyond competitions, WinG is part of the beatbox crew TYTD (Too Young To Die) and the acapella group Beatpella House, collaborating with artists like Hiss and Hellcat. His latest beatbox track, "Dopamine" (2025), showcases his evolving artistry, blending intricate rhythms with dynamic soundscapes.
