Willow Katherine Kayne, born in Bristol, England, is a British singer-songwriter whose early life was shaped by a family involved in music production and education. She began creating tracks in 2018 after receiving a computer with a digital audio workstation software, releasing early songs on an audio streaming service before winning the 2021 Ivor Novello Rising Star Award and gaining mentorship from Nile Rodgers. Kayneâs EP, Playground Antics, featured the singles "Two Seater", "I Don't Wanna Know", and "Opinion". Her second EP, Mr Universe, included collaborations with Generalâ¯Levy and production by Toddlaâ¯T. In 2024, she released The Zenosyne and the single "Riots".
