Biography

William Sabatier, born on October 15, 1974 in Issoire, France, is a bandoneon player and French composer. He began his musical studies at age six under his father's tutelage. Sabatier's early influences included Marcel Feijoo and Astor Piazzolla, leading him to immerse himself in the study of the bandoneon. In 2013, he founded Trio Celebración, inspired by Leopoldo Federico’s work. Sabatier has collaborated extensively with various artists and orchestras, including Leonardo Garcia Alarcón on the program "Monteverdi-Piazzolla" (2009) and Roger Helou for the album Entrador! (2021). He has performed at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall in London and Salle Pleyel in Paris.
