Biography

Wesly Bronkhorst, born 23 October 1982 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch singer whose career began in the mid‑2000s with the single "De lucht was blauw", which entered the Dutch Single Top 100 in July 2007. The following month he released "De zon die schijnt", and in November 2007 he issued his debut album Kom maar bij mij. In 2013 he released a self‑titled album, Wesly Bronkhorst, which entered the Dutch Top‑100 Albums chart in October. The same year he participated in the talent show Bloed, Zweet & Tranen. Subsequent releases followed a steady pattern: Op Weg in November 2015, 15 in May 2017, a live recording 15 Jaar Live in het Concertgebouw in December 2017, and Trots in December 2018. Throughout this period he issued several singles, including "Amalia" in June 2022. Wesly Bronkhorst has maintained a presence in the Dutch pop scene, with chart placements and a dedicated fan base, while his work reflects a blend of Middle‑of‑the‑Road, Nederpop, and mainstream pop styles.
