Wesly Bronkhorst, born 23â¯Octoberâ¯1982 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch singer whose career began in the midâ2000s with the single "De lucht was blauw", which entered the Dutch Single Topâ¯100 in Julyâ¯2007. The following month he released "De zon die schijnt", and in November 2007 he issued his debut album Kom maar bij mij. In 2013 he released a selfâtitled album, Wesly Bronkhorst, which entered the Dutch Topâ100 Albums chart in October. The same year he participated in the talent show Bloed, Zweet & Tranen. Subsequent releases followed a steady pattern: Op Weg in Novemberâ¯2015, 15 in Mayâ¯2017, a live recording 15 Jaar Live in het Concertgebouw in Decemberâ¯2017, and Trots in Decemberâ¯2018. Throughout this period he issued several singles, including "Amalia" in Juneâ¯2022. Wesly Bronkhorst has maintained a presence in the Dutch pop scene, with chart placements and a dedicated fan base, while his work reflects a blend of MiddleâofâtheâRoad, Nederpop, and mainstream pop styles.
