Biography

The Wamdue Project were an American electronic music group formed in 1994, comprising members Chris Brann, Chris Clark ("Deep C"), and Chris Udoh. The trio initially worked together as dance musicians and produced tracks for various labels such as Peacefrog and Studio K7 under different names, including Wambonix, Wamdue Kids, or Wamdue Project. Their breakthrough came in 1998 with the release of "King Of My Castle", a house track that gained international success, particularly after Roy Malone's remix became a number one hit in the UK in 1999. Gaelle Adisson provided vocals for this single. Following the success of "King Of My Castle", the group released several other notable tracks, including "Where Do We Go" and "You’re the Reason". The latter also achieved chart success but did not reach the same heights as their previous hit. In 2007, a progressive remix of "King Of My Castle" by Sander van Doorn was released. Throughout their career, Wamdue Project received several awards for music sales, including a silver record in France and Gold records in Norway and the Netherlands. Chris Brann went on to release music under different aliases throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
