Biography
WaïV is a French rapper from Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis. He came to prominence in 2021 with the track "Bizarre", in collaboration with GLK and Nahir. In 2022, he released his first EP, Don de Dieu, with tracks like "Pas comme ça". The following year, he released his debut album Vous Comprendrez Plus Tard, which followed the success of the viral hit "C'est bon" on listening platforms. His melodic rap tinged with various urban and Afrobeats influences is featured on the album Retour du G (2024) and the series Chap. 1: L'Initié (2024), Chap. 2: Le Prospect (2024) and Chap. 3: El Profesor (2025). In 2025, WaïV begins a new series with the EP D-6-Bels, followed by Winter D6Bels in early 2026.
