Biography
Wade Morissette is a Canadian kirtan and indie pop-rock musician. He began studying piano as a child and later learned guitar and percussion in his teenage years. His musical direction shifted after encountering yoga and chanting practices during travel in India, leading him to integrate Sanskrit mantra and English lyrics into his music. He later went on a touring period that included collaborations and promotional work associated with Lululemon, bringing him to cities across North America and internationally between 2005 and 2006. In 2006, he signed with Nettwerk Music Groupâs Nutone Music imprint. He subsequently released Strong as Diamonds: Om Vajra Kaya Namaha (2007) and Maha Moha â The Great Delusion (2008).
