Biography

Volumia! was a Dutch pop rock band from Heerlen, Netherlands. Formed in 1993, they started as a cover band before creating their own repertoire of Dutch-language songs. Their debut album, Volumia!, was released on April 24, 1998. The band achieved chart success with multiple entries into the Dutch Top 40 and received several awards, including four TMF Awards and one Rembrandt Award. They earned gold records in Belgium for their self-titled debut album. Volumia! released three more studio albums: Wakker (November 22, 1999), Puur (July 2, 2001). After disbanding in 2002, several members pursued solo careers.
