Biography

Vision of Disorder, an American metalcore band from Long Island, New York, was formed in 1992 by guitarists Matt Baumbach and Mike Kennedy, vocalist/lyricist Tim Williams, drummer Brendon Cohen, and bassist Mike Fleischmann. The band released a series of demos before issuing their debut EP Still in 1995 on Striving for Togetherness Records. Vision of Disorder signed with Roadrunner Records' subsidiary Supersoul and released their self-titled full-length album in 1996, which was praised for its metallic hardcore sound. The band's second album, Imprint, was released in 1998 on Roadrunner Records and featured guest vocals by Pantera’s Phil Anselmo on the song "By the River". Vision of Disorder disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2006 and 2008, releasing Razed to the Ground in 2015.
