Biography

Violetta is an Argentinian TV series that has become a new global phenomenon since its debut in 2012. Broadcast in France on Disney Channel, Violetta is sometimes considered a new Hannah Montana. The show's heroine is played by Martina Stoessel, who is often compared to Miley Cyrus. As the series is set in a performing arts school, music plays a major role. The album Violetta was a worldwide success in 2012, followed by Cantar Es Lo Que Soy a few months later, as well as Hoy Somos Mas and Violetta en Vivo in 2013. Gira Mi Cancion goes straight into second place on the French sales charts on its release in August 2014. Violetta accompanies her 2015 French tour with the release of Violetta: Le Best of in February. Released in April 2015, the album Crecimos Juntos chronicles the third and final season of the series.
