Biography
Karol Itzitery Piña Cisneros, the star of the Mexican series Soy Luna, Karol Sevilla, was born in Mexico City on November 9, 1999. From the age of six, she appeared in commercials, then, after learning acting at a specialized art school from 2006 to 2008, began playing a few roles in some thirty episodes of the TV series La Rosa de Guadalupe (2008-2015). At the same time, she appeared in other series such as Para volver a amar (2010), Amorcito corazon (2011) and Como dice el dicho (2012). Under the stage name Karol Sevilla, the young actress switched to singing and performed in adaptations of musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Fantabulosa and Timbiriche, before being hired to play the role of Luna Valente in the Disney Channel series Soy Luna, broadcast from 2016. Here she gains international recognition among teenagers, reinforced by the release of the singles "Alas " and "Sobre Ruedas", and then the album Soy Luna , on which Karol Sevilla participates alongside her partners Ruggero Pasquarelli, Michael Ronda and Valentina Zenere.
