Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol, born July 7, 1993 in Mundo Novo, Brazil, known as Vintage Culture, is a Brazilian DJ and record producer. Developing a keen interest in music upon graduating from high school, Hespanhol committed himself to music production after abandoning a career in law. Branding himself as Vintage Culture, he unveiled the EP Hollywood in 2016 under the Ganza Seal Skol Music label in collaboration with Spinnin Records. Shortly afterward, his remix of Sofi Tukker's "Drinkee," released by Ultra Music, soared to the fourth spot on Beatport's Dance chart. However, it was "Wild Kidz" (2016) that propelled him to international acclaim, with 2019 track âIn the Darkâ (with Dancy Inc) shooting straight to Number 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The following year, he collaborated with Tiësto on âCoffee (Give Me Something)â which landed in the top 50 of the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He continued to release a slew of popular singles and remixes including âYou Give Me a Feelingâ (with James Hype) (2021) and âUnder Pressureâ (with Meduza) (2022), and in 2023, was named as one of the Top 10 DJs in DJ Mag. He returned in 2024 with "Weak" which climbed to number 39 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
