Vazelina Bilopphøggers was a Norwegian band formed in 1979. They released their debut album 24 timers service in 1980 and followed with a steady stream of albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Slitin i knea (1981), Blålys (1982), and På tur (1983). Their popularity in Norway grew through a combination of recordings, live performances, and collaborations with comedians and stage artists. In 1991, the band contributed music to the Norwegian version of Rock-A-Doodle and also provided voice work for several characters in the dubbed version. Their later releases include albums such as Tempo (1990) and Musikk tel arbe (1986). In September 2019, Vazelina Bilopphøggers announced a farewell concert titled 40 år med vondt brenn'vin, originally planned for Oslo Spektrum in 2020 but postponed multiple times. The final concert was ultimately held on October 8, 2022.
