Biography

Van William, born Van William Pierszalowski on November 24, 1984, in Cambria, California, is an American musician known as a singer-songwriter. He initially gained recognition as the frontman of the band Port O'Brien and later formed Waters. His solo career began with the release of the single "Revolution" on September 9, 2016, followed by The Revolution EP on September 8, 2017. The music video for "Revolution,” featuring Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, premiered on NPR on July 18, 2017. The song reached number 6 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs chart in January 2018. His debut full-length album, Countries, was released on January 19, 2018.
