Valerio Scanu, born in 1990 in Italy, is an Italian pop rock singer. He participated in various festivals and TV programs early in his career, including "Canzoni sotto l'albero" (2000) and "Bravo Bravissimo" (2002). Scanu gained national attention by finishing second in the eighth edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2008. His first EP, Sentimento, was released in 2009 and achieved gold status. In 2010, Scanu won the 60th Sanremo Music Festival with "Per tutte le volte che...". Following this victory, he released several successful albums including Valerio Scanu (2009) and Parto Da Qui (2010). Notable singles include "Mio" and "Amami".
