Uwe Jensen, born Uwe Pawelczky on July 5, 1948, in Brätz, Germany, is a German singer. He initially worked as a machine builder and television mechanic before studying classical singing. Jensen participated in various international music festivals, including the Internationalen Schlagerfestival Dresden and the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo. His debut single, "Sonnenhimmel, wie das Meer so blau" ("Sunny Sky as Blue as the Sea"), was released in 1974. Throughout his career, Jensen released numerous albums, including Alles für dich (Everything for You) in 1982 and Leben zu zweit (Life as a Couple) in 1986. Notable songs include "Eine Ewigkeit" ("An Eternity") in 1981 and "Auf der Suche nach Zärtlichkeit" ("In Search of Tenderness") in 1991. Jensen also moderated television shows such as Wiedersehen macht Freude (Reunion Brings Joy). In 2013, he celebrated his 65th birthday with the release of two double albums.
