Biography

Uji Rashid & Hail Amir are a pop duo formed in Malaysia in the 1970s by singer Fuzia Haroun Al Rashid, who goes by the name Uji Rashid, and singer Abdul Hail bin Amir, who goes by Hail Amir. They have each performed with other artists and released singles including 'Seloka Hari Raya', 'The Day of Understanding' and 'Happy Holidays'. A remastered version of their 1977 album 'Asmara Bergelora' came out in 2019.
