Biography
Born in 1994 in Ludhiana (Punjab), Uday Shergill is an Indian singer, actor, songwriter, and composer. He attended Maharaja Ranjit Singh School and graduated from Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar before pursuing a career in music. Active since 2015, he achieved his first successes in the early 2020s with tracks such as âTechiâ in collaboration with Garry Sandhu (2020), â5 Vajeâ (2020), âHaan Kar Deâ (2020), and âTenu Soh Laggeâ (2021). He has collaborated with artists such as Garry Sandhu, Gurlej Akhtar, Sukh Digoh, Ramanpreet (âAdha Adha Laddu,â 2023), Hukam, Deepak Dhillon, Meenu Singh, Ricky Sangha, as well as Desi Routz and Jasmeen Akhtar on âChete Honaâ (2024). In 2026, he achieved his first hit in the United Kingdom with the collaborative track âNo Worries (Hakuna Matata),â featuring DesiFrenzy, Raj Hayre, and Shxxn.
