Trenincorsa, a folk rock band from Luino, Italy, was formed in October 2001 by Matteo Carassini and initially included Giovanni Bruno on accordion and Fabio Ferrari on percussion. Their debut EP, Fino a che non cambierà , was released in 2004. Trenincorsa gained national attention after meeting Giulio Tedeschi from Toast Records at the Mantova Music Festival in 2003. Their first full-length album, Stazione Resistenza, followed in 2005. The band collaborated with notable artists such as Davide Van De Sfroos and Enrico "Erriquez" Greppi of Bandabardò. In 2015, their song "Varés" was adopted as the official anthem for the city of Varese. Trenincorsa released their fifth album, Barba e capelli, in 2016 and resumed touring in 2022 after a hiatus, introducing Alessio Isgrò on guitar.
