Treibhaus, a German band from Hannover, was founded in 2004 by Curt Doernberg. The group's music fell within the Neue Deutsche Härte genre. In 2005, their debut album Unsterblich was released on Danse Macabre and distributed internationally. The following year, Treibhaus released Feindbild, which debuted at number 10 on the German Alternative Charts. Notable lineup changes included the departures of Mattias Liebetruth and Ulli Wellhausen, who were replaced by Michael Wolpers and Klaus Alberti, respectively. In 2008, their third album Alarmstufe Rot was released, featuring a reinterpretation of "Pippi Langstrumpf". The band's fourth album, Alphatier, was distributed across Europe and the USA in 2011. Treibhaus has been considered inactive since 2013 due to lack of recent information or online presence.
