Biography

Formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2013, Odd Mob is an EDM / electronica duo originally comprised of DJ / producers Harry Hope and Robbie Jacobs. The duo released their first single, “The Tribe,” in 2013, which was followed in 2014 by “Jungla.” Their third single, “Is It a Banger?,” became a viral hit and propelled the group into the public eye. The single reached number 70 on Australia’s Triple J Hottest 100 chart and paved the way for the digital EPs Diverse Universal - which included the single “This Game” (featuring Bertie Blackman) – and Diffusion. In 2016, the duo’s single “Into You” (featuring Starley) reached number 1 on the ARIA Club Tracks chart. The following year, Odd Mob released the singles “Feel So Good” and “No Pressure” (with Super Sally) as well as making the announcement that Robbie Jacobs had left the group and Harry Hope would be continuing creating music under the Odd Mob name. Further singles included “Intrinsic” (2018), “All of Your Heart” (2019), and 2020’s “Bad Moon” (featuring Kameron Alexander), and “Wide Open.” In 2023, Odd Mob collaborated with Los Angeles, California-based DJ OMNOM (real name: Cody Lee) on the single “Losing Control."
