Tompall Glaser was an American country singer born in the United States in 1933. Thomas Paul Glaser performed with his brothers Jim and Chuck in the trio Tompall & the Glaser Brothers, appearing on television in 1957. Glaserâs solo recordings include the single âPut Another Log on the Fireâ (1975), which reached number 21 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. They co-produced the album Honky Tonk Heroes (2013) and appeared on the recording Wanted! The Outlaws (1976), which was the first country album certified platinum. Glaser operated Glaser Sound Studios, which served as a center for the outlaw country movement. Their discography includes the albums Charlie (1973), Tompall (Sings the Songs of Shel Silverstein) (1975), and The Great Tompall and His Outlaw Band (1976). Glaser died in 2013.
