Biography

Known as Tolou, Ida Tolou Kjeldsberg is a Norwegian singer born in Tromsø on August 27, 1998. Born to a Norwegian mother and a Nigerian father, she started out singing in church and went on to perform on stages with Beyoncé and Rihanna as her role models. In 2023, her first single "Coco" is released , followed by a collaboration with Sam Opoku on "Love Me to Find You". The year 2024 saw the release of several other tracks, successively "L.O.V.", "Dem Boyz", "Unwind", "You Ain't for Me" and "Call Me", in an urban pop style tinged with reggaeton or afrobeats. Five of her tracks are featured on the EP International Girls, Pt. 1, released in June 2024. Released in November of the same year, "A Little Bit Sad" proved to be her first hit. It spent several weeks on Top 40 Radio, reaching number 22.
