Biography
Tim Feehan, born April 27, 1957 in Edmonton, Alberta, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He began his recording career when his college band Footloose recorded "Leaving for Maui", which became a Top Ten hit in Hawaii. In 1986, Feehan won a songwriting contest sponsored by producer David Foster, after which he signed with Scotti Bros/CBS Records in Los Angeles. His self-titled debut album was released in 1987 and earned five Alberta Recording Industry Association awards, including "Best Pop Performance" and "Producer of the Year." The album's first single, "Where's the Fire", was featured as the theme song for the film The Wraith. In 1987, he won the Juno Award for "Most Promising Male Vocalist". Feehan signed with MCA Records in the late 1980s and released Full Contact (1990). He co-purchased the Backroom recording studio in Glendale, California in 1993. In 2012, Feehan created ParkDriveProductions.com, a boutique music production company.
