Thomas Gould, born in 1983 in London, is a British violinist. He began studying with György Pauk at the Royal Academy of Music at age 16 and credits his sister Clio Gould, lead violinist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as an inspiration for his career choice. In 2009, he was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. Throughout his career, Gould has collaborated with various artists, including Radiohead and Rufus Wainwright, and performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Barbican Centre in London. He is also known for his work with orchestras like Britten Sinfonia and Aurora Orchestra, where he served as leader. In 2013, Gould participated in a busking experiment at Westminster Underground Station, recreating The Washington Post's Joshua Bell experiment from 2007. His albums include Bach to Parker (2014) and Bach : Goldberg Variations (2015).
