Biography
The Spits is an American punk rock band formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1993, later based in Seattle, Washington. The band entered the music scene with the single â19 Million A.C.â (2001). The group's early releases, which include the single âPainâ (2009), established a raw garage-punk aesthetic. In 2010 they issued a split single with the band NOFX, followed by the studio albums Returning to Their Hometown (2006), Kill the Kool (2011), and VI (2020), the latter of which was released independently. Their performance history also includes the live album The Spits Live 1 (2007) and tours across Europe and the United States.
