Biography
Formed in 2007 as high-school students in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), The Popopopops have been on a steady rise ever since. In 2008, they played at Rencontres Trans Musicales, and in 2009 were awarded the CQFD - Les Inrocks prize. This was followed in 2010 by performances at the Fête de l'Humanité and opening for Pony Pony Run Run at the Zénith in Paris. 2012 sees The Popopopops release their first EP with A Quick Remedy and play at Le Printemps de Bourges and L'Olympia. The Popopopops release the album Swell in March 2013, followed by several concerts across France.
