The Neon Boys were an American proto-punk band from New York City formed in 1972. The group consisted of Tom Verlaine, Richard Hell, and Billy Ficca. They recorded the songs âThat's All I Know (Right Now)â and âLove Comes in Spurtsâ, which appeared on the EP Time (1980) released by Shake Records. The band disbanded in 1973. Verlaine and Hell formed the band Television, while Hell founded the Heartbreakers and Richard Hell and the Voidoids. A 1991 re-release of the EP included the song âHigh Heeled Wheelsâ. The group never performed a live show.
