The album became one of the biggest selling Indian rock albums of the year. In 2017, their “Khudi” single was supported by a video that won Platinum Film of the Year from the 2017 India Film Project Awards. In January 2018, The Local Train released their second album Vaaqif, which included the single “Ghustaakh.” A popular live act, The Local Train played several festivals as well as regular venues and toured India several times.
