Biography
The Hope Conspiracy is an American hardcore punk band from Boston, formed in 1999. They recorded a demo tape at Godcity Studios in November 1999, which they released on cassette and later reissued on CD and vinyl. Their debut full-length album, Cold Blue, was released in 2000 via Equal Vision Records. The band followed up with the EP File03 in 2001, featuring re-recorded demo tracks and new material. In 2002, they released their second album, Endnote. After a hiatus in 2004, the Hope Conspiracy returned with the album Death Knows Your Name in 2006 via Deathwish Inc., which received favorable reviews. Subsequent releases included the 7" "True Nihilist" in 2009 and the album Tools of Oppression/Rule by Deception in 2024, both on Deathwish Inc.
