The Hop La! is a French punk rock band from Montpellier, formed in 2004 by former members of Sheriff. Manu handled vocals, guitar, and compositions, while Olivier contributed lyrics. The band began performing extensively across France in 2005, sharing stages with acts like The Dickies and No One Is Innocent. Their debut album, Rigolus, was released in 2006 on New Rose/Last Call and Wagram Music labels. In 2008, they released their second studio album, Sans Danger, under Kicking Records. The band expanded its reach with tours in Canada and a performance at the FrancoFolies de Montréal in 2010.
