Biography

The Glasspack, a psychedelic punk rock band from Louisville, Kentucky, was formed in 1999 by frontman "Dirty" Dave Johnson. The group initially gained traction with their garage EP and two garage albums, followed by the release of American Exhaust in January 2001 through Riverock Records. Their breakthrough came with the signing to Detroit's Small Stone Records, leading to the release of Powderkeg in spring 2002. The band's music was featured in various media, including MTV shows like Viva La Bam and video games such as MLB 2K and Amped 3. In 2004, they released the album Bridgeburner, followed by Dirty Women (2007), which included tracks used in FX's Sons of Anarchy. The Glasspack also headlined at the Netherlands' Roadburn Festival in April 2008, solidifying their European presence. Their notable singles include "If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say / Firecracker" released in 2010.
