The Four Owls is a British hip hop group formed in 2011. The ensemble is composed of established artists from the High Focus Records label performing under bird-themed aliases: Fliptrix as âBig Owlâ, Verb T as âBird Tâ, BVA as âRusty Take-Offâ, and Leaf Dog as âDeformed Wingâ. The group released its debut studio album, Nature's Greatest Mystery, on 5 December 2011, which was produced by Leaf Dog. They followed this success in 2015 with the release of the album Natural Order, which featured production from Leaf Dog and the American legend DJ Premier. The ensemble achieved further international prominence with its 2020 album, Nocturnal Instinct. This third full-length project included collaborations with several notable American artists, including R.A. the Rugged Man, Kool G Rap, and DJ Premier on the single âThink Twiceâ.
