Biography
The Ferris Wheel, an English rock and soul group, was formed in 1966 by lead vocalist Diane Ferraz, who had previously performed with Nicky Scott. Their early singles include "Let It Be Me" and "The Na Na Song", issued in 1968 on Pye Records, though neither entered the UK Singles Chart. The band released Can't Break the Habit in 1967 and later Ferris Wheel in 1970 on Polydor, the latter featuring singer Linda Lewis. After personnel changes, including the additions of drummer Dennis Elliott and guitarist Jim Cregan, the group disbanded in 1970; subsequent members pursued successful careers, and the 2000 Sequel Records reissue of Can't Break the Habit revived interest in the catalogue.
