Biography

The Elmer Iseler Singers, a professional chamber choir based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was founded by Dr. Elmer Iseler in 1979. The 20-voice ensemble, conducted by Artistic Director Lydia Adams, established itself as one of Canada’s leading choral groups. Their repertoire spans 500 years of choral music, and they have built an international reputation through concerts, broadcasts, and over 50 recordings. Notable albums include Welcome Yule! (1986) and the Juno-nominated Corona Divinae Misericordiae by David Braid (2018). The choir has collaborated with prominent organizations such as Soundstreams Canada, Canadian Brass, Nexus, Ontario Music Festivals, and the Toronto Symphony.
