Biography

The Dogma, an Italian power metal band from Ancona, was formed when Cosimo Binetti and Daniele Santori met at a friend's funeral in 1999 and founded the band in 2001. The group released their first demo, Symphonies of Love and Hate, in 2002, which sold well through mail order. They signed with Drakkar Entertainment and released their debut album, Black Roses, in 2006. Following lineup changes, the band toured Europe supporting Lordi and released their second album, A Good Day to Die, in 2007. The Dogma has toured extensively, playing at major festivals. Despite periods of inactivity, the band returned in 2022 and announced a new album planned for 2025 with an accompanying European tour.
