Formed in Mannheim in 2011 by guitarists David Schneider and Manuel Renner with MC/rapper Alexander Bechtel, The Butcher Sisters appeared in 2013 with the release of a namesake EP and went through a number of member changes, before stabilizing with metal singer Nicklas Stroppel, bassist Florian Toma and drummer Kai Richler. The band, signed to Bleeding Nose Records, established their reputation on stage with concert after concert, and in 2016 unveiled their debut album, Respekt und Robustheit, which broadened their audience. After two more years devoted to the live scene, EP 68 Undercover (2018) builds on covers by Toni D, Kiz, Marteria and Haftbefehl. In 2019 follows Alpha & Opfah, a second opus split between hardcore rap and metalcore, before a collaboration with the band Equilibrium. A series of singles ranging from "Uga Uga Bam Bam" (2021) to "Bauchstasche " (2023) continued in this vein with public support until the release of the EP Bierdurst (2024), featuring the participation of comedy group Mehnersmoos on the title track. Since signed to the Arising Empire label and appearing at festivals such as Full Force, Summerbreeze and Reload, The Butcher Sisters released their third album Das weiÃe Album in 2025, featuring collaborations with Alligatoah, King Nugget Gang, Equilibrium and 257ers.
