Biography
Formed in 2019, hard rock band The Bites was founded in Hollywood, California by vocalist Jordan Tyler and drummer / producer Mark Hylander. The groupâs classic rock-influenced sound came together with the addition of bassist Zack Currier and guitarists Jono Richer and Dustin Coon. Blending influences from 1970s and 1980s hard rock bands (Guns Nâ Roses, Motley Crüe) and 1990s garage rockers (The Hives), The Bites built a following in Los Angeles by virtue of their energetic live shows and melodic songs. Signing with acclaimed hard rock / heavy metal label Earache Records, the group released their highly acclaimed debut album Squeeze in 2023. The album includes the singles âDo Me A Favorâ and âKnockinâ on the Door,â which debuted at number 40 on Billboardâs Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
