Biography

The 360 Degree Music Experience was an American jazz band active during the 1970s and 1980s. Initially co-led by drummer Beaver Harris and pianist Dave Burrell, the group performed both traditional and experimental jazz. After Burrell's departure, Don Pullen took over on piano. Notable musicians who were part of the band included Hamiet Bluiett, Cameron Brown, Ron Carter, Ricky Ford, Jimmy Garrison, Grachan Moncur III, Titos Sompa, and Buster Williams. The group released several albums, including From Rag Time to No Time (1975), In: Sanity (1976), Beautiful Africa (1979), Safe (1979), Live at Nyon (1981), and A Well Kept Secret (1984). The band's discography spans various labels, with notable releases on BMG.
